The 1998 Leaf set presents serious challenges for player collectors. The parallels are many, for some players as many as 16 cards exist! If you collect a certain player, this set cuts your work out for you. While incredibly ambitious, much like many other sets from the late 1990s, this set features some truly exquisite designs. This Fred McGriff comes from the 1998 Leaf Fractal Diamond Axis parallel set, which is in many ways, one of the most appealing sets of its era. The warm dark blue, etched overlay, die cut, and small print run make this set as quickly desirable as it is classic.
